Great Pumpkin Weigh-In

For the 31st year, Kokko Realty and The Kokko Family will be sponsoring and organizing the Great Pumpkin Weigh-in contest! We are so very pleased and greatly appreciate their dedication and time to continue this great tradition!

The Great Pumpkin Weigh-In will be 12 Noon on Saturday October 10th at The Oval. The ginormous pumpkins will be on display throughout the festival. Be sure to come by and check-out these beauties!

Beer, Wine & Spirits Tasting

Join us Friday and Saturday nights of Pumpkin Festival under the tent on the Community House Lawn. Hosted by the Milford Lions Club and the Rotary Club, a diverse line-up of local and regional brewers, vintners and distillers will be sharing tastes of their fabulous beverages from 5:30-8:30.

Scarecrows, Pumpkin & Face Painting

Scarecrow Making, Pumpkin Painting, and Face Painting are available for your enjoyment! In addition, a host of local nonprofit groups will be offering fun activities for “kids” of all ages and some fine food & beverages.

14th Annual Pumpkin Festival Variety Show!

Saturday, October 10th

7:00 pm

At the Amato Center for The Performing Arts

56 Mont Vernon St. Milford

Tickets - $10 per person

Join us on October 10th at the Amato Center for a fabulous evening of entertainment! Many local performers and perhaps some surprise quests will be sharing their talents. All this for only $10? Can't go wrong!

Tickets will be on sale in September at SVBGC Events and will be available at the door.


Carved Pumpkin Community Lighting

Saturday 10/10 at 7 pm

The Bandstand on The Oval

Carve your pumpkins at home, then bring them down to The Oval on Saturday 10/10 between 8AM-10AM or 6PM-7PM

If needed, drop them off on Friday 10/9 between 10AM-4PM at Mary Mattingly’s shop “I Do, Again” 263 Union Square (south side of The Oval)

Each carved pumpkin will earn a discount coupon for The Haunted Trail!

Food Drive for SHARE Outreach, Inc

Together we support our community!

On Saturday or Sunday bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Food Pantry at SHARE Outreach (Please no glass containers!)

Haunted Trail

Beware the Monsters on the Haunted Trail…

In Emerson Park everyone can hear you scream!

Come to Emerson Park on Friday, October 9th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM and Saturday, October 10th 5:30 - 9:00

Tickets are $5, Children under 10 are $1

Screams are FREE!

Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an Adult!

Starting from the Keyes Memorial Park 45 Elm Street Milford, NH

Historical Walking Tour of The Oval Area

Learn about some of Milford’s history with a guided walk around the Oval area with the Milford Historical Society.

A Historical Walking Tour will start at the Carey House at 6 Union Street

Tours will take place on Saturday and Sunday

Tours start each day at 8:00am and 9:30am.

Pumpkin Catapult

Hosted by Souhegan Valley Dollars for Scholars

Will your pumpkin shot sink the Pumpkin Scarecrow floating in Railroad Pond? Come give it a try!

Just off The Oval at the TD Bank lower parking lot on South Street. All proceeds support local academic scholarships.

Cost - $3 for 1 pumpkin shot and $5 for 2 pumpkin shots

The Flying Gravity Circus will be delighting the crowds with with their fun, high energy street performances!!

Ski Pass Raffle

Again this year, Crotched Mountain generously donated a set of 2 Peak "Ranger" Ski Passes for a raffle to benefit the Granite Town Festivities Committee! These ski passes are valued at $1498 include unlimited, non-holiday access to all Peak Pass resorts and many other perks - more detailed info available on their website - click Ranger Pass information

Raffle Tickets - $5 each or 5 for $20 - Cash only - available that GTFC Booth #48 on The Oval. Raffle ticket sales close at 1:30 PM on Sunday and the winner will be announced at 1:45 PM at The Oval Stage. Attendance not required to win!

Tombstones Talk

David Palance will lead free guided tours of the Elm Street Cemetery

Saturday, October 10th at 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm

Meet at the new Station 101 located at 193 Union Square

Please be respectful of the cemetery space. Please do not bring pets and please supervise young children. Thank you!

Artisans and crafters galore will be at The Milford Pumpkin Festival with booths set-up in the Town Hall Auditorium and Banquet Room, on The Oval, at Emerson Park, and along Middle Street. Lots to see and great gifts to buy!
