What will Eric create this year?

For the past two years, local artist Eric Escobar of Wicked Ways Inc has shared his tremendous talent during the festival. Eric creates a large-scale live mural painting during the festival. Visitors are invited to watch the progress and be part of the creative process.

The Milford Pumpkin Festival- 31 Years of Great Family Fun!

Each Fall, Milford’s Pumpkin Festival draws tens of thousands of visitors to the town’s downtown. During this event, visitors experience Milford at its finest. Participants engage in a wide range of fun activities designed for all ages, but they also witness the community spirit of local volunteers, the support from local businesses, and the important role the downtown area plays in our community.

Purpose of the Event

Special events like the Pumpkin Festival provide visibility for the Town of Milford and help foster civic pride and a positive image of the community.

Over the years, the award-winning Milford Pumpkin Festival has become one of the most highly anticipated Fall festivals in New England. Attendance in 2019 was estimated to be upwards of 37,000 over the three days of the event.

Festival Details - 31 years, and still growing!

Traditionally, this 3-day Festival takes place on Columbus Day Weekend and occurs in Downtown Milford on The Oval, Community House Lawn, Emerson Park and South and Middle Streets, Milford Town Hall and the Amato Family Performing Art Center on Mont Vernon Street.

Visitors to the Pumpkin Festival have many opportunities to enjoy a variety of family friendly activities, listen to wonderful musical entertainment at three stages, indulge in a wide variety of tasty food and much more!

Overview of Fundraising Benefactors

The Milford Pumpkin Festival is organized on the Town’s behalf by the Granite Town Festivities Committee (GTFC).

All monies raised by the Granite Town Festivities Committee during the Milford Pumpkin Festival are re-invested directly back into the community.

The Festival brings the community together and allows over 30 Milford area non-profit and civic groups to participate and raise funds to support their own endeavors.
